Leading off for Red Dragon Gerwyn Price accounted for all his opponents except for Simon Whitlock where he lost 4-5 in the final group match.

World Number 2  Peter Wright was next to go and comfortable went through with three wins with not much fuss and finally looking comfortable with his darts.

Jonny (The Giant Killer) Clayton, was also a clean sweeper of his group, slaying world number 1 Michael Van Gerwen on day 2 5-4.

Gerwyn Price will play Josh Payne in the second match on Wednesday, Price should win this comfortably.

Peter Wright

Peter Wright takes on Aussie Simon Whitlock and this I think will be a close match and can go either way, I have to go for fellow countryman Whitlock in this one.

On Thursday night Jonny Clayton kicks things off against Krzysztof Ratajski and will have no problem, as he has the confidence of beating the world number 1 in the tournament so far and landing top spot of his group.

Wesley Harms is the only match that will struggle to get into the next round he is playing Gary Anderson, who on his way to the 2nd round has been playing some exceptional darts, Anderson will win comfortably, but Harms is a scrapper.

Hopefully, I have my selection correct and we will see a few more Dragons in the den coming to the weekend matches.
